Angiographic Needle

Percutaneous vascular puncture is a complex procedure requiring a specialist’s experience and knowledge, during which a wire guide is inserted with the help of an angiographic needle. One of the components of a successful insertion is using a high-quality, quickly, and precisely controlled insertion needle with scalpel sharpness.

Description

Medical device manufacturer Cook Medical’s angiographic needles are ideally suited for percutaneous vascular puncture. Cook Medical offers a choice of echogenic needles for better ultrasound vision with Ec hoT ip® technology or needles with MReye® technology, which are recommended for use with an MRI scanner. The needles can be one-or two-piece needles or a needle-catheter.
Cook Medical angiographic needles, which come in various lengths and sizes with innovative Ec hoT ip® technology, are more transparent and visible on ultrasound. The microscopic wells on the needle surface provide strong X-ray reflection, making the needle tip clear in X-ray photographs. The sloping tip of the needle allows for smooth needle control during insertion.
